The Numbers

1. Big Wins with Advanced Search

We've been analyzing how the new layout performs across mobile and desktop, and the results are exciting! 🚀 Here's what we've found:

  • Users adding to cart (ATC) from the advanced search page has increased.
  • Test group users show higher checkout starts and better order conversion rates, especially when adding to cart from advanced search.

Conclusion: We’re considering rolling this out to 100% of users, with a small 10% holdout to keep tracking progress.

2. Shifts in Add-to-Cart Behavior

  • ATC from product detail pages (PDPs) is down, leading to a slight dip in overall ATC rates.
  • However, this shift isn’t impacting orders or revenue! Users seem more confident adding items from advanced search, and since these users convert better, it’s a net positive.

What This Means: Fewer ATCs on PDPs = No problem! The advanced search is driving more meaningful interactions, boosting conversions, and sustaining revenue growth.
